I was born in Columbia, SC and grew-up in Greenville, SC.  The
youngest of three children, my family is very close and very
supportive of each other.  My wife, Jennifer,  is originally from
Charleston, SC and graduated from Furman University in Greenville,
SC.  She is a devoted wife and mother to our three children.  Our
elder daughter, Caroline, was born in 2001 and was followed by the
birth of our second daughter, Ellie, in 2003.  Our son, Charlie, was
born on August 29th, 2006 at the Presbyterian Huntersville Hospital.
We live in the Wynfield Forest Subdivision. My father is an
environmental engineer appointed by President Reagan to serve as
I began my career at Datastream Systems in Greenville, SC in a sales position.  I spent three years working as an
Account Representative before leaving in 1999 to start Team Racing Auto Circuit (TRAC).  TRAC was designed to
combine the best aspects of stock car racing with the team sports model used by the NFL, NBA, and MLB.  While at
TRAC, I was fortunate enough to have Cale Yarborough serve as National Spokesman for the company and have the
former President of CBS, Robert Wussler, serve as Chairman of the Board.  In addition to these two individuals,
TRAC also had Spartan Foods and Hardee's Founder, Charlie Bradshaw, serve as CEO.  Working alongside these
three great individuals has given me the knowledge and experience that would have otherwise taken a lifetime to
learn.  When I sold TRAC in 2001, the company relocated its offices from Greenville, SC to Huntersville.  I was
retained by the company as Vice President, Special Assistant to the President to assist in the running of the
company.  In 2004, I left TRAC to form a new company, Intermodal FCL, Inc (IFCL).  IFCL is a trucking company
currently operating under the name of Landstar Inway.  We have eight employees with offices in Huntersville, NC &
Cornelius, NC.  We currently move truckload freight all over the United States.
